I came to Thailand with 30days visa on arrival and it exceeded on 16. January. My Flight back goes on 22. January. Is it ok to Pay the overstay fee at the Airport right Away?

And can i Fly within Thailand with an exceeded visa (domestic Flight)?

Thx in Advance

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquired about the possibility of paying an overstay fee at the airport after their 30-day visa on arrival expired on January 16, while their flight back is scheduled for January 22. A response clarifies that the user can indeed pay the overstay fine at the airport (3000 baht for 6 days) or opt for a 30-day extension at an immigration office for 1900 baht plus a 1000 baht fine for the 2-day overstay. Additionally, it was noted that flying domestically within Thailand is generally allowed even with an overstay, as the airline mainly checks for identification.

you did not come in on a visa on arrival but on a 30 day visa exempt stamp ;)

You should go to the immigration office and get a 30 day extension for 1900baht and pay the 2 days overstay fine of 1000 baht.

Or

you can just wait and pay the 6 day overstay fine of 3000baht at the airport.

You shouldn't have a problem flying domestically on an overstay, they only look at your passport when you check in for i/d not for your visa.

Still overstaying is not a good idea.

If police check your passport in patong you are arrested deported and banned

One hour immigration and 1900 bath for extension is the best to do

@Nik****
, It shouldn't cause any problems, just allow more time when you go thru passport control to pay the overstay fine and get the stamp in your passport.

Also you don't want to get in trouble for something else in thailand while you are on overstay because that is when you can really run off the rails with an overstay.
