You can apply for a Covid extension up until the last day of your current stamp (on or before November 26th). If it’s your first application for a Covid extension they’ll date it from the day you apply because you are “changing” the reason for an extension (from tourist/exempt to Covid). Most offices, including Phuket will initially give you a “under consideration” stamp that requires you to return to that office anywhere from 5-15 days to get the remaining balance of 60 days stamped. In Phuket a Covid extension can only be obtained at the main Phuket town office.

Really do not know...Thai Immigration offices may vary in their practice...as you are reading.

Suggest you not delay application too late as last day to apply is November 26th

And "shopping" for a Thai immigration office may prove to be a problem for you....
