TLDR : Answer Summary
The user currently holds a tourist visa with 60 days plus a 30-day extension, and is inquiring whether they can apply for a COVID extension that provides an additional 60 days without first completing their current 30-day extension. Multiple comments suggest consulting the immigration office for specifics, and emphasize reading existing discussions regarding COVID extensions. There is also mention of potential limits on the number of extensions and advice on the application process.

is there a limit on how many times we can receive the 60 days stamp? Today I visited the immigration office got the under consideration stamp for the 4th Feb. I entered on March 2020, the immigration lady asked me to find a flight and leave as i have been here for almost a year now, as covid is not going away. I said ok I’ll try lol

@Vit ********
right now the limit is you just got your last one :O

That's because the order allowing 60 day covid extensions runs out on the 29th of Jan.

There has been NO announcement from the gov't that they are going to extend this order.

found the immigration lady a bit rude earlier today. As I don’t think she gets to decide who stays and who doesn’t based on how many extensions I have taken previously. Rules should be same for everyone. Entered on 30 day visa exemption back in March 2020, and the rest were like 30 followed by 60 days extensions. If there’s a limit to how many times one can apply for extensions, they should make it clear at the first place.

like I just said
@V**
, as of right now, you hit the limit. :O

Watch for the news, see what announcement they make and go back to get your extension on the 4th.

Been seeing some post saying you have to book appointment online =/

@Simon *********
not obligated to make appointment but it can take longer then normal in the last week of the Covid extension. It's actually really easy. Did it in 5 minutes. Still some open timeslots too!

Think I just accept the extra 30 day extention for now, and see if the covid extention visa gets extended

I just wanted to give my experience at MTT today. It was my first extension so they only gave me 30 days on my TR visa, I asked about covid 60 days but she said no. They didn’t ask for a TM30.

I had an appointment that I booked online but there was no need to tell them because there hardly anyone was there. In and out in about 30 minutes.

Ask your immigration office. Some say only after you get the ordinary 30 days extension.
