Iโm coming over soon with the intention of getting an over 50โs retirement visa . Iโll be entering on a normal tourist visa ( UK ) .
My query is ; if my return flight is dated 3 months from arrival , will customs be a problem ?
Or should I book one way , then book my return flight after getting visa ?
Or, just put a return date to suit my entry visa ?
All help appreciated
TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking advice on how to handle their return flight when entering Thailand on a tourist visa while planning to apply for an over 50's retirement visa. Numerous comments highlight that booking a one-way flight may not be advisable. Instead, getting a Non-Immigrant Type O-A visa before arriving is suggested, as this will facilitate longer stays and reduce complications with immigration. Travelers should be prepared to show proof of onward travel, particularly if entering without a visa, and a three-month Non-O visa is recommended for entry.
