TLDR : Answer Summary
The question revolves around the experience of a user who applied for a DTV visa in Hanoi and was requested to resubmit documents already submitted. Several commenters affirm that it is common for immigration authorities to request resubmission for various reasons, like confirming the applicant's presence in the country or issues with document completeness (e.g., having merged files). Although some commenters express frustrations with the visa processes in Thailand compared to other countries, the consensus is that resubmissions can happen and should be handled with care, including possibly providing cover letters or addressing specific shortcomings in the initial submission.

First is to check that you are still in the country (no exit stamps) and second, I doubt you submitted the company’s registration previously

Anonymous participant you can only submit one file per upload link, so if not merged files, you didn’t submit

Forget Thailand, it's too much of a hassle, Vietnam 3 months visa (then visa run's) Cambodia 1 year visa, Philippines 3 year tourism visa . Thailand is a hassle now. Stressing at the immigration line ain't worth it anymore. Great place but easier elsewhere

look Thailand is awesome. Don't get me wrong but I always felt like I was begging to stay. Cambodia and Philippines are way more relaxed and easy.

I understand this feeling. Somehow Thailand gives you a feeling you are not really welcome, only your money is welcome.

Look at TM30 for registration where you are each night, additional TM47 to confirm address as if TM30 is not enough.

Then the attractions and entrance fees with double pricing with much higher costs for foreigners.

nah, it's a hassle I know I lived their for two years and every 3 months reporting and hoping no issues. F that. They leave you alone in other countries. Better off there.

For me having the DTV is perfect, I don't do the 90 days as I love to travel but yeah it's a hassle to do. Vietnam you have to border hop every 3 mths though and I know some don't like that. Each country has their own negative point with their visa.

The DTV is 5 years and for the vast majority not that difficult to get. Thai Immigration nowadays is not as easy as it was but it is not that difficult. Just get the visa that matches your stay.

Yes, it's normal. Attach a good cover letter again even if provided earlier.
