Hi everyone, I applied for the Thai DTV visa and my application status has been showing “Pending Approval / Processing Pending Approval” for the past 5 days.

I was asked to submit additional documents twice, which I’ve already done — just wondering if this is normal?

•How long did it take for your status to change after this stage?

•Is “Pending Approval” a good sign, or are there still chances it could get rejected?

Also, can I travel to another country while waiting, or do I need to stay in my home country until the visa is approved?

Any insights or experiences would be really helpful 🙏🏼

Answer summary

The user is experiencing a delay in the approval status of their Thai DTV visa application, showing 'Pending Approval / Processing Pending Approval' for 5 days after submitting additional documents twice. They are seeking insights on whether this timeframe is typical, the implications of the 'Pending Approval' status, the likelihood of rejection, and whether they can travel while waiting for approval. Comments from others suggest that the processing time may reset after submitting additional documents, and that it's generally required to stay in the application country until approval.
