Just go in Thailand, show the e-mail and have an easy entry, no questions asked?
workation DTV.
what about funds, will they check upon every entry?
Answer summary
After receiving DTV visa approval, travelers should print the approval email, which serves as their visa, and present it upon arrival in Thailand. While it's generally the case that no additional questions are asked at entry, this can vary by immigration officer. It's advised to carry at least 20,000 Baht or equivalent, even though proof of funds is primarily a requirement for the visa application itself and not typically for entry. Past experiences suggest that while many travelers have entered without issues or questions, there can be instances where immigration officers may inquire about funds or the purpose of stay.

You may or may not be asked questions, that will be entirely up to the immigration officer you stand in front of. It's always a good idea to have the required 20k baht in cash on you, or equivalent in another currency, they may not check but they can. It's unlikely they would ask to see your bank account on entry
Fly to Thailand with your Visa (printed out) and you proceed through immigration. Nobody will ask you for proof of funds.. that's only relevant for your application
Anonymous participant if you have the document saved physically on your device & not relying on cell or WiFi connection at IO checkpoints then you might be okay. You should always have 1 copy on paper for most transactions with Immigration like 90 day report, maybe if you want a Thai DL as well.
I’ve never been asked for proof of funds once the Visa was approved. Not yet, anyways.
Anonymous participant honestly I've heard of someone in this group having an issue when they tried to present it on their phone. So that's why I said print it out just to be safe.
You may have to show PROOF of your DTV Visa to airline staff on check-in for your flight ✈️ to Thailand...even to the connecting airline staff. Or to the land border crossing entry Thai Immigration Officer.
Upon arrival into Thailand, show the DTV visa to the Thai Immigration Officer and look at the STAMP placed in your passport to be sure you are STAMPED in for 180 days.
Usually no questions asked, yes! Upon further entries, there is always a possibility they ask a few questions, just to verify you're honestly doing what you're supposed to do on your DTV (e.g. for learning thai language, or Muay thai). also heard about someone getting asked to verify his 500k funds again upon entry. Technically you are supposed to have those 500k on every entry too.
so what you are saying is that after you get approved you don’t need money anymore to support yourself? Just try to think a bit logical. Yes, the 500k is a requirement and the IO can deny entry if he is in a bad mood and you cannot show enough funds
GrayWallaby8130 Perhaps you are the one who should "think logically ":), mr anonymous snark champ? You write "so what you are saying is that after you get approved you don’t need money anymore to support yourself?" How does one support themselves with 500k, if they are not allowed to spend a single baht of it? Also, if it was a requirement when re-entering, it would be clearly stated in the rules (just as the application requirement is). But it is stated nowhere that 500k is a requirement when entering the country. Just as there is no requirement to carry a bank statement with you to show that 500k.
