Dear all, quick question on whether or not is it necessary to cancel the non-ed visa of my daughter.
We are moving countries at the end of December and my daughter (Dutch passport) has a 3 month non-ed visa (see attached) which will expire on Feb 10, 2024. She has not yet purchased the re-entry permit.
My question:
* Do we have to go to immigration and cancel this visa prior to leaving end of December?
* or can we just not purchase the re-entry permit when we leave the country which in my understanding would render it invalid?
As a background: she used to have 1 year in her previous passport which expired during our holiday so that she could not extend it and had to re-apply with the new passport and got 90 days Non-ed. So I guess it is not an extension.
Thank you in advance for your answer to our question.
TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires about whether they need to cancel their daughter's 3-month Non-ED visa before leaving Thailand since they are moving countries at the end of December. They explain that the visa is set to expire on February 10, 2024, but they haven't purchased a re-entry permit. A respondent confirms that there is no need to cancel the visa, as it is the initial 90-day visa issued, and they can simply leave the country without invalidating it.
