Is it easy to rent a condo in Thailand on a DTV visa considering the banking difficulties?

Hi,

is it easy/possible to rent a condo for 12 months on a DTV (on the basis you have to leave the country ever 6 months and may not return) now that its virtually impossible to hold a Thai Bank Account?

Even visaless tourists can rent condos. It's money-related, not immigration or visa related. And, needless to say, also totally legal.

With a security deposit of 1-2 months (most are 2), it’s fine.

As long as you can pay the bills no need. You don't need a Thai bank account to pay the bills. Some rental places even take crypto (which some money changers also take usdt)

thanks. the online agents (websites) are suggesting minimal rental agreement is 12 months, would a landlord really sign a tenant up when they only hold a 60day visa??
