TLDR : Answer Summary
The 90-day report in Thailand is due on the 90th day after arrival, regardless of whether you leave the country on day 91. While there is a 7-day grace period for filing late, it's recommended to submit the report before leaving to avoid potential fines or issues with immigration in the future. It can be done quickly online or in person.

Do it online.

I did mine yesterday and it was approved today (10 days before the due date). It only takes a couple of minutes.

yes I realise it's thata bit 'hit and miss', but if he does it early enough, he has time to go in to the office if rejected.

Why not just do it before you leave. 5 minutes in Bluport.

okay you leaving property? Report where you are that day before you go. That does not change until you tell them otherwise as you are not in Thailand.

you are not doing anything wrong. Go report before 90 and then hotels need to report for you after that. I’m sure it’s not your responsibility.

You are correct that the grace period to file the 90 day report is 7 days after the due date. But that's only for reporting. Your 90 day report is due at 90 days, whether you leave the country on day 91 or not. It's possible that in the future an immigration officer will notice that you skipped your report and fine you at that time.
