TLDR : Answer Summary
A user inquired about the acceptability of their employment certificate and contract when their company's name has changed due to a merger after seven years. Respondents suggested obtaining documentation of the name change from the chamber of commerce and adding a note to clarify the discrepancy, confirming that such explanations have previously been received without issue.

Should be able to get an extract/printout of the certificate of name change/merger from chamber of Commerce.

I accidentally listed 8 years instead of 7 years on my app cause I moved companies along with the CEO (so working for the same guy just different company) but explained the discrepancy in a follow-up when they asked me for more details on my work - no issues
