May I request for help here as my friend is having the school to apply education visa for his children but the school said the parent need to show 500k baht in the bank account.
This is required for education visa?
Thanks alot in advance
TLDR : Answer Summary
The requirement of having 500,000 Baht in a bank account is not directly related to obtaining an education visa (ED visa) for children. Instead, this financial proof is necessary when a parent seeks a visa based on supporting a foreign child enrolled in a Thai school. Therefore, if the child is applying for the ED visa, there should not be a financial requirement for the child themselves.
