Hey guys,

Is it okay for the initial duration of stay to just be 25 days?

I want to be in Bangkok for just a little bit of time, then visit Vietnam for two weeks, after that, I plan on living in Bangkok for many months.

I'm worried that if they see 25 days, they will just give me a tourist visa (despite not needing one).

Living in Tbilisi and applying to the Ankara embassy.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The community reassures that a 25-day initial duration of stay is generally acceptable for those applying for a multi-entry visa to Thailand. It's noted that it should not raise issues with the visa application process, as long as the applicant does not overstay. Some users suggest extending the initial stay as a precaution, while others affirm that such a short stay does not matter for multi-entry visa types.

I added 40 days just on a safe side. Gave dummy flight number and hotel details, no one asked anything. Honestly, page 3 of visa application is useless. 😂

As the other mentioned it shouldn’t matter , but depending on your passport and application for example if you were applying under soft power and you also only booked a course for 25 days then that would be a concern
