Hi all! How many times can we enter in thailand by flight every years? My visa expires on 27th of this month (2 months tourist visa + extension) and I have to leave thailand on 4 nov for 1 week... is it ok a visa run to the border and then ask for another 2 months tourist visa from europe? This year I enter 1 time by land and 1 by flight, Italian passport... thank you!

I have been here in Thailand for a couple years now - on tourist visa. I do like Robert describes, proof of accomondation, proof of funds, onward travel (when required). I leave Thailand 1-2 weeks every visa run. Travel by plane, always get visa -- I have not had any troubles. Many others like me, the same. Some people have issues - but some people make themselves problems. - Enjoy your travels

Official there is NO limit on how many times you can enter Thailand other than the two Visa Exempt Entries at land crossings a calendar year for 54 countries. The longer your history of living in Thailand and using Visa Exempt Entry and Tourist Visa the bigger the chance to get questioned at Immigration Check point. Prepare yourself with the 20.000 Thb or equivalent currency in CASH, proof of accommodation and onward travel. Next to this it could be good to have proof of funds coming in from abroad to avoid the suspicion of working inside Thailand.

Yes. The limit only applies to visa exempt entries

I have a question for you : if I already entered Thailand twice by land this year with a visa exemption, can I enter once more by land with a 60 day tourist visa this time? Thanks!
