Hey DTV crazies, went through bangkok international today. DTV visa activated no questions no asks. 180 day approved.

I must say I took the advice of a member whereby laminated the DTV visa, had a print out od the Tdac done, i even went as far as to use a wet wipe to clean the finger print machine so that it read my very bad fingers properly.

Dont be nervous peeps, the Thai people are just wanting what is right for them. If it is cutting back in visa jumpers then so be it.

No surprises there considering there shouldn't be any issues with the DTV.

You already put your Dtv no in the Visa box of your TDAC, they know you are a dtv holder, laminated nonsense🙄
James ********
It's a great way to preserve the DTV Visa you received from the Thai Embassy or Consulate where you applied for it. And use it for the 5 years of the DTV visa.

allow 2 weeks, HCMC is great, just avoid any Thai public holidays, as that could extend the time. If you provide everything and are not asked to submit further documentation you might get notified within 5-7 days. Just ensure you don't leave the country you applied at during the process!

Ho Chi Minh City, formerly Saigon..the latter name still used by many including locals . Great City incredibly cheap, hotels, food, restaurants, grab taxi only £1 approx for most City trips.

Laminated nonsense. Not needed at all. Thais do not laminate documents like this. When in Rome…

สมองควาย ๒๕๖๘ Laminating can even make the document less good to scan because of reflections, so indeed not necessary.

yes e visa paper. Not e visa paper covered in plastic.

สมองควาย ๒๕๖๘ lamination keeps the document reusable.

Pretty sure they give it back to you anyway.

When you do 90 day report you do not get back the printed copy.
