How did I successfully obtain my DTV visa for Thailand through a Muay Thai program?

APPROVED ON A SUNDAY EVENING AT 23:40!!

First of all thank you to everybody in this group who helped and guided me and so many others 🙂

- Applied on December 22nd, from Da Nang (Thai consulate in Ho Chi Minh) through the soft power option (Muay Thai 6 months)

- December 23rd additional documents requested:

•A banking statement with everyday transactions (the one provided had plenty of money but zero transactions )

•Direct email from Muay Thai gym to consulate plus screenshot from my side

•Proof of income and plans in Thailand after course is over (uploaded paperwork from my rental property)

-Status changed to “pending approval” on 29th December

-DTV approved on 4th January 23:40!

I uploaded a separate cover letter in each section explaining details and highlighted certain parts of the PDF’s for better understanding.

I used “I love PDF” to compress the files, completely free.

I highly recommend “Muay Thai Fever” gym. It is the most affordable program I could find in Chiang Mai, very quickly to respond and efficient, plus the offer a full refund in case of rejection… and NO, I’m not endorsed by them 😂 I’m just giving credit where credit is due.

If you have any questions I will be happy to answer them.

Like I said earlier thank you for all the help throughout the process people!

Thank You for your helpful report 👍

Congratulations 👏👏👏

PRINT OUT THE EMAIL THAT HAS YOUR DTV VISA.

That's what you should do... print it out.

You may have to show PROOF of your DTV Visa to airline staff on check-in for your flight ✈️ to Thailand...even to the connecting airline staff. Or to the land border crossing entry Thai Immigration Officer.

Upon arrival into Thailand, show the DTV visa to the Thai Immigration Officer and look at the STAMP placed in your passport to be sure you are STAMPED in for 180 days.
