This may be a daft question...
I'm looking to apply for a Non-Immigrant O-A Retirement visa for Thailand.
I plan to retire there at the end of this year.
When does the Visa period start?
For example, if I start the application now and it get's granted in say 2 months, will it's validity start the moment I land in Thailand?
Or when I get granted the Visa?
As I say, apologies if this is obvious to you all and thanks for any clarification.
TLDR : Answer Summary
The validity of a Non-Immigrant O-A Retirement visa for Thailand starts when it is issued, not when you enter the country. This visa is typically valid for one year from the date of issuance, allowing multiple entries during that year. Additionally, it’s important to consider financial requirements and health insurance options when applying.
