Hi all! I just got my DTV visa from Cambodia. Took 2 weeks and had to comeback to Thailand first.
I'm trying to get my husband's spousal DTV visa from somewhere else but Cambodia.
1) Where do you recommend for spousal DTV application? I'm asking this because I only have 500k in my bank account for the past few weeks.
I thought about Laos but they might ask 3 months bank statement over 500k each month of the DTV holder (so my bank bank statement). Also I'm getting mixed messages about Laos' processing time.
2) What are the documents I need for the recommended location? The website and contacting them are useless...
I would greatly appreciate I someone can answer these questions! Thank you🥳

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user is seeking advice on where to apply for their husband's spousal DTV visa, as they are looking for alternatives to Cambodia, where they obtained their own visa. The user has concerns about meeting financial requirements, specifically needing a 3-month bank statement showing over 500k THB, and is considering Laos but uncertain about its processing times. Community members suggest Cambodia again, share their experiences with other locations like Ho Chi Minh City and Taipei, and discuss documentation needed for the application.
I got my dtv in hcmc then applied for dependant in Taipei in December before everything was online, so I'm not sure if this is still helpful
I only provided 1 month bank statement with 500k thb that was in it for 3 weeks. I included a sponsorship letter stating I am responsible for their accomodation, spending and any other financial expenses.
The usual documentations eg passport, copy of my dtv etc
