What is the expected waiting time for a DTV visa in Jakarta during the holiday season?

Hi everyone. I’d like to ask if anyone can share their experience of obtaining a DTV visa in Indonesia through Jakarta.

I submitted my documents through an agent, and the status hasn’t changed since December 15. I was told there might be delays due to the holidays.

Has anyone experienced a long waiting time for a DTV visa? How long can the decision on my visa take?

Thank you all in advance for your replies.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The community is discussing delays in processing DTV visas in Jakarta, particularly around the holiday season. Users mention that common processing times may range from 3-4 weeks, but with recent public holidays and increased application volumes, many applicants, including those who submitted their applications in mid-December, are experiencing longer waits. Overall, while delays are noted, individuals are advised not to worry yet as some have only been waiting a little over a week.

25-26 Dec have been public holidays. 15th doesn't count as it was application day. So you have only been waiting 7 business days. I wouldn't worry yet.
