TLDR : Answer Summary
When entering Thailand with a visa exemption for 60 days, there is technically no required minimum duration for leaving the country before returning for another visa exemption. However, while some travelers report re-entering the next day or even within minutes, it's essential to note that this can lead to scrutiny from immigration officials. Many recommend waiting at least 6 months between entries if planning to return frequently to avoid questions regarding possible abuse of the visa exemption system. Officially, travelers are allowed two visa exempt entries per calendar year, but practices may vary.

As long as it takes you to walk thru immigration on both sides and come back in

Officially can have 2 visa exempt entries each calendar year. But many have done it more than that in a single year.

If you are wanting to do this every year for the foreseeable future, I'd recommend waiting at least 6 months per entry.

If you are just going this year, doesn't matter. Leave for a day and return to Thailand the day after if you wish.

i have had 9 in a single year 2022 not that long ago. I have close friend who comes every month for about a week that’s 12 in a year. you should not make stuff up.

Sorry but that’s just not the case. There has never been a limit on how many visa exempt entries you could have.

There used to be a limit on the number of visa exempt entries you could do via a land border but that changed ages ago when the exempt entry was changed to 60 days rather than 30.

It’s up to the individual immigration officer you hand your passport to as to whether you can enter. If you’ve had 3 this year they may question you or deny you, but that’s the same if you’ve had 10 or 12.

Some people come for a week and leave, and repeat that each month or so. There’s not an issue doing that until the officer says there is.

I've learned that you get 30 days extention from the Immigration Office, and 60 days if you leave the country and come back.

I went a couple of days to Malaysia, and got another 60 days when I returned to Thailand.

Should be on 90 days.

Passport 60 days and 30 extension

There's no definite time, entirely up to the immigration officer you will stand in front of. If he thinks you are abusing the visa exempt system he can deny you entry

Absolute minimum is 1 minute. Anything less will raise a lot of questions
