Using the 60 days free visa without extensions please can you tell me how long we can stay in a year? And how long we have to wait in our country before returning to Thailand? I can't understand, there is nothing precise or written

TLDR : Answer Summary
The conversation discusses the uncertainties surrounding the duration of stay permitted on a 60-day visa to Thailand and the waiting period required before re-entry. Users express frustration over the lack of clear guidelines from Thai immigration authorities, emphasizing that each entry is subject to the discretion of immigration officers. It is mentioned that there are limitations on the number of entries per year, particularly by land or sea, and the potential for complications if trying to re-enter frequently without the correct visa.

Thanks for the reply. I was asking to understand when I can return. But this only confirms what I think: I knew that by land or sea you can only enter 3 times a year, but if they then tell me that by air there are no limits it's a lie...

I mean, it's all approximate at the discretion of the officer and if they send me home to passport control they will only create problems for me.

There is nothing written in black and white, it's all at our own risk. If I go to Thailand 2 times a year without extending the visa I'm just a tourist, but maybe the goal is to make people pay for visas,

...if at least they were clear, they play with the 3 card trick.

It's not correct.

No, no one can tell you. Each entry is at the discretion of the immigration officer you are standing in front of. Recent reports are people that spend 60 days, get a 30 day extension, leave and return within a few months are getting pulled out of line and interrogated. If you're a tourist, you don't need more time than that. If you're not a tourist, get a proper visa. It's only a matter of time until you are put into a bad position by being denied entry if you try to play games with Thai immigration in this current environment.
