Hello, I’m currently on a 60 day visa exemption, is it possible to come back into Thailand on a 60 day visa exemption if I stay out of the country (eg Malaysia) for one night?

TLDR : Answer Summary
It is possible to re-enter Thailand on a 60-day visa exemption after staying out of the country for one night, such as in Malaysia. However, there are no official limits to how many times you can use the visa exemption, and it largely depends on the discretion of the immigration officer at the border. If you do not have a recent history of excessive travel in and out of Thailand, you should generally be okay. It's advisable to ensure you are not perceived as misusing visa rules based on your travel pattern, and consider obtaining a 30-day extension at a local Thai Immigration office for added security.
If you don’t have any recent excessive travel history in and out of Thailand you can leave and re-enter on another visa exemption. There’s no official limit or regulations regarding this and everything is in the discretion of the IO you’re standing in front of. If they mean that you aren’t a genuine tourist but use tourist solutions for long term stay in Thailand you risk to get pulled aside and told to get a proper visa according to your travel pattern and/or denied entry.
As Miller states you can apply for a 30 days extension at your local immigration first at 1900 baht.
But!!!! Its up to the officer at the border if he belives your a tourist or mis using visa rules its all about previos stamps in your passport so no one knows
Hmmmmm 🤔 I guess you are not aware of the fact that NOT 🚫 all visa exempt entries are entitled to a 30 day extension of stay. It depends on their passport nation. That's why I asked.
