I know we have to leave Thailand every 6 months and then re-enter. Does anyone know for how long we have to be out of the country before we can re-enter? Thanks in advance.

TLDR : Answer Summary
To re-enter Thailand after a 6-month stay, there is technically no minimum time you must be out of the country. Many users report being able to re-enter immediately after stamping out, whether at land borders or airports. Some mention that a common practice is to spend 6 hours or more outside the country, which can help demonstrate less reliance on Thailand. However, staying just a short time, even the same day, is generally accepted as long as you meet visa requirements.
We been told 6hrs minimum when my friend went immigration in hua hin Yesterday. But they say if you out country longer it proving you become less reliant on their country and looks better.
When I go with my son we gonna 1-2 days away border hopping just to also break up time there and explore as that what we like doing most xx

Literally one second.
As soon as you're stamped out, you can get stamped back in, so you can fly back asap or do land border runs.

It's not every 6 months, I mean, the maximum yes. But if you normally travel here and then, you won't need even need to care about it. But, about your specific question, there's no minimum, you can stay a day or two, or even come back on the same day, as the visa allows that.

As long as it takes to get across the border, having filled in the TDAC.

There isnβt a time limit. At a land border where you walk across you can stamp out and back in within minutes.
By plane fly out and catch the next plane back if you want.
