I have only one 60 days thai visa stamp in my new passport and I have only used 33 days of that stamp and want to enter Thailand after leaving for 7 days. (I am allowed to stay 30 days without visa). Will I have any problems with that?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user has a 60-day Thai visa stamp valid for a remaining 27 days and plans to leave Thailand for 7 days before re-entering. Advice given in the comments indicates that although a new passport does not erase entry history, and that the Thai Immigration Officer has discretion over admissions, it may be possible to re-enter under the 30-day visa exemption. Additionally, obtaining a re-entry permit could keep the existing visa active, allowing re-entry without losing the previous stamp.

You need to know that by getting a NEW PASSPORT does NOT erase your history of entries and exits in Thailand. With or without a visa issued, the decision to admit you is up to them...period. BEWARE and be prepared to answer Thai Immigration Officer questions about your living in Thailand. Good Luck.

Maybe useless suggestion... You also can get re-entry permit to keep your current 60 days stamp alive before you leave Thailand. Cost you some more, but you can enter Thailand as part of the same admitted to stay, not visa exempt stamp (if you are eligible for it)...

Oh really but I didn't know if I would come back within that time so I didn't do that.

I guess the 60 days Admitted to Stay stamp is given to you when you showed up with the Single Entry Tourist Visa and this visa is stamped USED. When you left Thailand, you got a new triangle stamp with the exit date. You can not use this visa or remaining days of previous period when you like to enter again. Depending on the origin of your passport, you can come back without a visa and get the 30 day Visa Exempt Entry.

OMG I wouldn't do that, but thanks.

There is no minimum time to stay abroad, some people just leave Thailand, stamp in other country, make a U turn, stamp out and again in Thailand.

Yes I know I cannot use that visa again (Single Entry). I will get 30 days but I hope it's not too soon (left for 7 days).
