Hi,

This may sound a stupid question to many but I have just applied for my first Thai tourist visa, so I'm just seeking confirmation.

My visa was issued on the 16th of August, but it says it needs to be used by November 13th, although I don't arrive in Phuket until November 1st.

My question is:

Does the "Use by date" mean I have until November 13th to enter Thailand to begin my 60 days single entry visa, or

Does it mean my visa will become invalid on the 13th of November, and I must apply again?

Thank you

TLDR : Answer Summary
The 'Use by date' on your Thai tourist visa indicates that you must enter Thailand by November 13th. If you arrive by this date, you will receive a 60-day entry stamp. If you do not enter by November 13th, you will need to reapply for the visa.

You have until November 13th to activate your visa you will receive a 60 day stamp from your entry date if not activated by 13th November you will need to re apply for said visa

I believe this is how it works: You have to activate it by "using it" before Nov 13th. Then It should be valid for whatever time it permits you to stay.

Yes as long as you enter by November 13 you'll receive a 60 day entry stamp.

If you do not enter Thailand by this date your visa will be invalid
