Quick question about the tourist Multi Entry Thai Visa.

Does the 6 month window start from the day the visa is issued. Examples images online don’t show a last entry date. So assumed it was based on consecutive stamps

TLDR : Answer Summary
The 6-month validity period for the Multi Entry Thai Visa begins from the date the visa is issued, not from the date of the first entry into Thailand. As long as you enter Thailand before the visa's expiration date, you will receive a 60-day admission upon entry.

The visa itself is valid 6 months from the day attached to you passport, If you enter Thailand before the valid until date on the visa you get 60 days Admitted to Stay.

Yeah that makes sense. Thanks tod. I need to go Vietnam first for a 2 months so guess I will lose out on 2 months in Thailand

here's an example that shows the issue date and the enter before date 6 months apart. That means on this visa the last entry would have to be made ON or before the 9th June 2016 to get a 60 day stamp.
