I am applying for a Non O retirement visa while I am in the US. Once I successfully get my visa, do I get a sticker mailed to me from the embassy to stick in my passport? Or does to proof of successful application come in a different form?
Answer summary
When applying for a Non O retirement visa while in the U.S., the proof of a successful application comes in the form of a PDF file that you will receive via email. This document needs to be printed out and presented along with your passport when entering Thailand. It's important to see an immigration officer in person rather than using the electronic face-scanning gates.

I got my No-OA retirement e-visa in USA at Thai Consulate like you are doing. The longest step is getting Thai health insurance from a Thai Ins Broker. Your Ins and e-visa is for 1yr.
If your health history review is sketchy don’t be surprised if only a fraction of your body is covered! Preexisting conditions and past surgeries determine your coverage but, don’t expect a reduced cost.
Me and many others have poor coverage and go the self- insured path. This required getting the Non-O visa, which is only available in Thailand.
I wish I’d come on a 90day visa and applied here for the Non-O. It would have been handled by a Thai Visa agent and is less work on my part.
Yep, its a pdf that will be on the same Thai Embassy / Consulate web site you uploaded your financial docs to. Just log in to print. Make sure once you enter Thailand with that printed pdf, do not use the Electronic/face scanning gates. See an Immigration Officer in person and give them both passport and printed pdf.
