Does it matter how/where you enter Thailand if you’ve applied for a 3 month tourist visa online via your passport country?

TLDR : Answer Summary
When you obtain a 3-month tourist visa online, it does not matter how or where you enter Thailand. Once you are approved, you can enter through any port of entry. It’s essential to print the approval PDF from your online application, as this document serves as your visa, which needs to be presented at passport control. Upon arrival, expect to be stamped in for 60 days on a TR60 tourist visa. Additionally, you have the option to apply for a 30-day extension at any local immigration office for a fee.

Keep in mind the way that works is the tourist visa is VALID for you to ENTER thailand for 3 months from the date it's issued 😮

AND

When you do enter the country you'll get stamped in for 60 days like everyone on a tourist visa gets 🙂 You can also apply for one 30 day extension at the immigration office that serves the area where you stay for 1900baht after you're here

nope you can enter the country how ever you want to. You are not bound by the application to enter the country the way you told them when you applied

PRINT out the PDF file they email you when you got approved (that IS your visa) show it to the passport control officer when you're stamping in

They should stamp you in for 60 days on the TR60 visa type (tourist visa entry) without any problem at all
