Does anyone have experiences with a OA VISA?

After submitting your application, you will receive an email confirming the approval of your OA visa. Will you receive a visa stamp in your passport upon arrival at the airport, valid for one year? Or how exactly does that work??

Thank you for any useful and good information ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ˜Š

TLDR : Answer Summary
Upon approval of the OA visa application, applicants will receive an email containing the visa documentation as a PDF. At the airport, travelers will be granted a full one-year stay in Thailand, or for the duration of their valid health insurance, whichever expires first. It's advised to check the stamp's correctness at the immigration desk to ensure accurate visa details.

upon entering Thailand, you will receive a 365-days stay permit. You must control the correctness of the stamp on the spot before you walk away from the Immigration desk. . . The stamp will look similar to this one

You will receive an email with the Non-O A visa attached as a PDF file. Upon entry, you will be granted a full one-year stay, or for as long as your health insurance remains valid โ€” whichever comes first. If you update your health insurance and re-enter shortly before your visa expires, you will again be granted up to one year of stay, or for as long as your health insurance remains valid, whichever comes first.

thank you for your clear answer.

The 90 days report will be after 90 days of arrival? Will the arrival time be the same as the first report?

also remember the first year of your O-A visa is multi entry, but your second year is only single entry so you will need to purchase a multi entry pass or a single entry each time you leave thailand or you will loose your extension

@Graeme *****
"but your second year is only single entry" . . . . .sorry, this is wrong. The second year is without any re-entry permit. It doesn't come with a single re-entry permit. In the second year, he needs to buy a re-entry permit if he wants the most recently stamped stay permit kept alive in case he exits Thailand

and how much does a multy re-entry permit cost?

@Deniz ********
I would only buy a multi re-entry permit if you plan to exit and re-enter Thailand more often than three times during the most recent stamped one-year stay permit period. If you plan less than 3 exits, it is more economical to buy single re-entry permits every time . . . 1000 THB on Immigration or 1200 THB at the airport

a multi re-entry permit you buy for the second year or for the 1-year Extension of the Stay Permit out of a former Non-Imm-O/A Visa, will cost 3800 THB on Immigration

You are required to report to immigration after 90 consecutive days of stay in Thailand. Your first report must be submitted in person no later than 89 days after your arrival date, or within the reporting window โ€” from 15 days before to 7 days after the due date.

In addition to this, the property owner or the hotel must submit a TM30 address registration for you to immigration within 24 hours of your arrival.
