How can I request more time to submit the ACRO for my children's visa application at the Thai embassy?

Im Adding my children as dependants to my DTV visa and they are asking for 'additional documments (their or my ACRO) but we don't have one. (we applied before the rule changed).
How long is the wait roughly for peoples ACRO and can I ask embassy for additional time to wait for receipt of the ACRO?
I thought the time frame was 2 weeks from them asking for additional doccuments to you uploading them?
Can't get through via the phone and no ones answering emails 😅

You need help for what? If they if they are requesting for ACRO, that is what you need to provide them. In this case this group cannot help you, only you can help yourself🤷♂️

Seeing as you’re finding it difficult to contact them and explain the problem you’re having. You could write an explanation;
When we applied there was no requirement for an ACRO report, we’re happy to supply one now but the waiting time is around 30 days.
Then upload that as a pdf where they’re asking for the ACRO. That way you’ll know they’ve read it.

OPYes I had these other requests for my visa too, read them carefully and give them exactly what they ask for. Good luck

this ^ my school also advised me to upload the file receipt proof of ACRO application which states up to 30wds so the embassy can see it’s in the worksUnderstandin************

UnderstandingPeacock3600 this morning haha. I got the additional documents request last night. I originally uploaded a Thailand criminal background check as advised by my school and now they asked for the acro, (I have a driving ban so not sure if this will decline me) but I uploaded the receipt but they also wanted 11 other documents including a photo, again, more photos, more bank statements more cover letters and an explanation on the source of my £12,000 + a another few hoops to jump through. It’s a nightmare. My school are doing their best to help so hopefully fingers crossed it’s not £300 wasted

but in the meantime, it will show they’ve applied for it and the letter will explain how long it’s likely to take.

You're children are applying now so the new rules apply, if they're under 16 they supply your ACRO, 16 or over they need their own. The ACRO website says to allow up to 30 days
