How soon do I fill out my marriage visa before arrival? Do I purchase a reentry on arrival or during the visa application?

I have my money ready for transfer and just trying to feel the process out for the first time

TLDR : Answer Summary
When applying for a Non-O visa based on marriage to a Thai citizen, you can initiate the application process up to 90 days before your intended arrival in Thailand. It is recommended to start about 45 days prior. The Non-O visa is single entry and grants you 90 days in Thailand upon entry. Regarding the reentry permit, if you plan to stay in Thailand for the full 90 days, you do not need to purchase it immediately. Wait until you secure your one-year extension, as reentry permits are only valid until the end of your current visa stamp. Ensure you have a Thai bank account and deposit the necessary funds to facilitate your extension process.

I'll probably be criticised for this, but getting a Non O based on retirement makes you totally independent. That's of course if you meet the requirements.

What do you mean "fill out your marriage visa"? Do you mean when should you apply through an embassy for the Non-O based on marriage? Once it's issued it's valid for 90 days for you to enter. They will then stamp you in.

Up to 90 days before arrival, it is single entry and gives you 90 days inside Thailand. On arrival you should open a Thai bank account and deposit a minimum of 400k baht. 30 days before your stamp runs out go into your local immigration office and get the list of requirements for a 1 year extension

Your questions do not make sense. I assume that you are currently outside of Thailand ans married to a Thai lady. Do you have a Thai bank account? If not you need to arrive in Thailand on a long term visa. That is because you cannot open a bank account here on a tourist visa. A reentry stamp is obtained at an Immigration office inside Thailand or at a departure airport.

A Non-O visa is valid for 90 days from the day it is issued. So you can start anytime within 90 days of your trip. Generally 45 days is plenty of time.

Are you planning on leaving Thailand within your first 90 days? If not, then you don't need a re-entry permit. Wait until you get the 1-year extension to buy the re-entry permit, because they are only valid until the end of the stamp you purchase them for.

So you currently do not have a Non-O?

If so, you go apply for the Non-O based on marriage to Thai citizen here
