Hi guys! My visa expires on November 12, but i'm in Samui tomorrow and figured it would make more sense to drop by the embassy and get my 30 days.

But: will they extend from my expiry date of November 12, or do they start counting from the day of tomorrow? I don't want to lose 12 precious days in Thailand :)

I'm really not sure about this and would be so happy if somebody could help! Khaaaaa

Summary so far

The user is seeking clarity on whether a visa extension granted at the embassy will begin counting from their current expiry date of November 12, or from the day they apply for the extension, as they are concerned about losing days on their stay in Thailand.
