What is the duration of visa extension when using an embassy letter in Thailand: 30 days or 60 days?

So confusing..... If i extend now end of Nov with embassy letter... Do I get 30 days or 60 days? Some immigrations give 30 and some 60. Very confusing. Any info will be appreciated. TIA

Usually up to officer whether they stamp 30 or 60 days but now usually you get 30 days
