Received my 30 day extension today at Muathong Thani, obtained through an Australian embassy letter. They greeted me by name in the corridor today and then ushered me in. I waited for approximately 5 minutes before being handed back my passport. It’s empty and every one was super polite and friendly.
Edit....this was obtained after receiving an initial “ under consideration” stamp

The user successfully obtained a 30-day visa extension in Thailand at the Muathong Thani immigration office using a letter from their Australian embassy. After a brief wait and an initial 'under consideration' stamp from a previous visit, they received their passport back with the extension approved. Community members shared insights on the process, emphasizing the need for individuals to check with their own embassies regarding the format and content of the necessary documentation.
