I would like to know how I can get the maximum amount of time that I can stay in thailand using the Multi entry Tourist Visa . Each entry is stamped for 60days, and if I time the last exit and reenter before the validity of METV expires, I reckon I could get about 8 months .. can anyone suggest a better way ? Thanks in advance , and if this has been asked numerous times , my apologies.

TLDR : Answer Summary
To maximize your stay in Thailand using a Multi-Entry Tourist Visa (METV), you can initially stay for 60 days per entry. By timing your exits effectively and ensuring you reenter before the visa expires, you could achieve around 8 months. Additionally, it's suggested to extend your last 60-day entry by 30 days, potentially allowing for almost 9 months of total stay.

you can get ALMOST 9 months of stay

take a 30 day extension on the last 60 day entry you make just before the visa itself expires
