Posting a data point:
Just left the Chaeng Wattana immigration. I'm on a TR 60. I requested a 60 day covid extension. They said that I need to do my 30 day extension first. So I did that.
* 30 days was added to the end of my original 60 days (90 days total). Hoping that they extend the covid extensions beyond Jan 25 so I can eventually get that.
* I made an online appointment for 1:15. I was in and out in 15 minutes. This saved massive amounts of time and waiting. [members only]
* I had all of my papers and photo ready prior to arrival, except the TM7 which I picked up and filled out there. I grabbed an extra for future use.
* There is a sign at the entrance saying that you need a covid vax proof and an ATK test w/in 72 hours to enter. However, neither of these were actually required. I did have to fill out some form saying I had no symptoms, etc.
* They did take my TM30 copy which I had gotten from a cheap hotel the day prior. I'm staying in an airbnb currently. They probably would have sent me packing w/o this.
* I poked my head in counter J after filling out the form at 1:18. The lady was bitchy and pointed out that I was late (1:15). I told her I just filled out the form and it was only 1:18. This shut her up. Don't be late!
Hopefully this helps somebody else.
