How does my girlfriend register the TM30 if she is not the condo owner?
Hello everyone.
First and foremost thank you for all the info here.
1st time I arrived in BKK with my DTV from the US. Honestly when I got the approval email it didn’t say anything about what I had to do.
In reference to the TM30. My girlfriend has the condo lease. She went to the condo management and they told her she had to do it online. I can not read Thai so I had to translate it on with chatGPT. We set up and account through the steps and waiting for a verification email that never came in. I don’t know what else to do to complete this TM30. She’s going to meet with the main office to see if they can help. Honestly any help would be great as I have been here since the 20th. TIA

I always verify with the person/business that is getting my rent money if they will take care of the tm30 for me. Should be one of the top questions you ask. Not necessarily for it to be completed but to see the integrity and type of landlord you are dealing with. Any good landlord will happily take care of it for you.

my girlfriend wasn’t thinking about it when she signed the lease. We were really thinking about the DTV as I come to Thailand and leave and come back. But with the 30 day change my plans changed a little.Gias****

OPGiasai😉that’s what I thought. She was told the lease holder can submit it. The condo owner is completing it now.

The TM30 should normally (legally) be filed by the condo owner or the person responsible for the accommodation. They should be the ones taking care of it for you.
