TLDR : Answer Summary
The TM30 reporting process in Thailand can vary by immigration office. Typically, if you travel domestically, your wife may need to report your return to her registered address with TM30 again, although some offices may not require this. It is advisable to confirm the requirements with the local immigration office. Using the online TM30 system can simplify the process, allowing for quick updates whenever you return from travel, especially if you've stayed in a hotel that would also require registration.

If she's registered and doing it online then just do it again whenever you come back from being away, especially if you booked into a hotel in Thailand because they will register a tm30 in your name.

I mean really, is it worth the discussion if it only takes less than 5mins of your time to do it online. 🤷‍♂️

Let her do it online, so every time you come back from some where where they have registered you, she can update Takes less then a minute

It is totally up to the immigration office you are using, some will require it, some will not, you are always best to go and ask what your particular office will require from you.

It's immigration office-specific if they require you to submit TM30 again after domestic travel. Some offices don't require you to update TM30 after domestic travel. You need to check with your local office.

But if you want to use the online system for a 90-day report, better to submit TM30 again after any travel regardless of your local office policy. 90-day report system checks your address with your latest TM30 record.

Korat immigration wants a new one. But, If you can get your wife to check in at the hotel when you travel, they won’t file a tm30 and you should be good.

, later part depends on the hotel/guest house. Many check every guest’s ID, not only main person.
