TLDR : Answer Summary
You can extend your Multiple Entry Tourist Visa (METV) for an additional 30 days at immigration. You do not necessarily need to do another border run to Laos. Some users have pointed out that upon extending, you may receive either another 60 days or the option to extend your current 60 days by an additional 30.
