Hi friends, I just wondered what the script is for filling out TM30s for long-term guests? Where do you find these, and how can you make it clear that you're not a hotel or guesthouse?

I heard there was a grace period for this until Sept 9, but I am out of the country so only just heard. Is there a big penalty for submitting late? How do you sort this?

Thanks for your advice!

TLDR : Answer Summary
This post inquires about the process of filling out TM30 forms for long-term guests in Thailand, particularly addressing concerns about not being classified as a hotel or guesthouse, the grace period for submissions, and penalties for late filing. A commenter provides information on registering online as a house owner to submit the TM30 report, explaining the required documentation and the system's classification options.

I have just registered online as the house owner so I can do the TM30 report for my Brit fiance. I got the username & password instantly.

The system asks you if you are Thai or 'alien' 😁 and if you are a home owner or hotel or guesthouse business.

You use either your passport or Thai ID (บัตรประชาชน) AND Tabian Baan (ทะเบียนบ้าน) AKA House Particulars (the Dept Consular Affairs of Thailand preferred translation), property purchase or rental contract.

Kaila Dalgleish Canadian abbreviation is 'CAN'. (In general you can google typical abbreviations, it's sometimes a little weird like Malaysia is MSY and Switzerland is something super odd. (CHE I think..)

You can just type that in, no need to use the pop-up window lookup.

Not sure. Maybe that is why you cannot do it. You will need the ref. on the arrival card as well.

I have not done any report as we are still in the UK but did try to have a look by logging in. There is a msg saying that the system only supports Chrome and Internet Explorer 8-11. Hope this helps.
