How do I correctly apply for a METV visa while staying with my Thai girlfriend in Thailand for 5 months?

I'm planning to stay with my thai girlfriend in Thailand for 5 months in the coming winter. The METV visa seems to be the best option. I will fly to Phuket November 5 with a one-way ticket, but I will spend the New Year days in Singapore, so I will also have a HKT-SIN-HKT return ticket. I will need an Invitation letter from my girlfriend to upload in the visa application, but I'm not sure if it would be acceptable to make the invitation last for the whole period of 150 days or if she should just let the invitation last from my arrival in Nov until departure to Singapore late Dec.

1 question, which adres must you give up in thailand were you are staying for de 150 days? you got no booking of hotel no inviting letter??

The address where you are going to stay, being homeless and sleep on the street is not allowed to tourists.

As you have to show the tickets and the reasons of multiple visits, you can use the invitation letter for the same periods of time spending in Thailand.

I'd say just book a hotel you can cancel until you go to singapore and use that booking to show proof of where you're staying.. ๐Ÿ™‚ That's often easier than the letter of invitation, the lease, the land lord i/d etc that sometimes can be asked for when you say you're staying with someone here

Thank you for your reply. In fact, I will start my travel by staying the first 5 days in a hotel in Phuket. She will come to stay with me there and we will then go her house in Phang Nga. But I guess it will not be enough just to upload the first 5 days stay in the visa application??

5 days is probably fine.
