now I have a marriage visa NON RE and this is still valid till 3rd march 2022
I would like to change it to a visa for pension when my old one is running out.
My question:
1.) how many days before should I go to immigration for my new visa
2.) Which requirement and paper do I need for that visa?
Thanks a lot for answers

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is looking to transition from a marriage visa (NON-RE) to a pension visa when their current visa expires on March 3, 2022. They asked two main questions: how many days before expiration should they visit immigration for the new visa application, and what documents are required for the pension visa. The response clarifies that the user has a yearly extension based on marriage and advises them to apply for the new extension 30 days or less before their current stamp expires. It also outlines the financial requirements for the pension visa based on monthly income.

Sounds like you don't have ANY visa at all and instead have a yearly extension from the immigration office based on marriage AND a re-entry permit <- which you came into the country with which is why you have a Non-RE entry stamp until March 3rd 2022.
You can apply for a new yearly extension when you have 30 days or less left on your current stamp (so anytime AFTER the 1st of Feb about).
If you are using monthly income to show your proof of funds you need incoming transfers of 65K baht a month each month every month for the previous 12 months OR (if you come from a country whose embassy issues affidavit of income notary letters you need that)
GO to your immigration office and get the hand out listing the requirements to get a year extension based on 'retirement' using monthly income method. That way you know exactly what documents to prepare and what to get from the bank.
right if you look at your stamp in your passport it will clearly say "extension of stay valid until" and have that March 3rd 2022 date on it.
All you'd be doing is changing the reason for your extension from one based on marriage to a thai to one based on being over 50 (retirement) by meeting the requirements for the retirement extension. People change the reasons like that all the time. Your immigration office will totally know how to do it ๐
anyone on an extension of stay from a non-immigrant type visa (B, ED, O, etc) with a re-entry permit gets the Non-RE stamp when they enter the country.
here's one from my passport when I came back on my retirement extension with a re-entry permit in 2017
