TLDR : Answer Summary
Yes, you can extend your 30-day visa exemption in Thailand. While some places may have specific rules about when you can apply for an extension, it is generally possible to request an extension as soon as you arrive, even on day one. However, experiences may vary by location, with some immigration offices allowing extensions within the first few days.
