About cover letter : several applicants mention submitting a cover letter. For soft power, where exactly can we upload the cover letter? In the 'Supporting documents' page you can upload only evidence for 3.current location, 4 financial evidence and 5.proof of confirmation to attend the activity; there is no field where you can add a cover letter.

For the proof of location I wrote the cover letter telling them what I was giving them: driver's license, car Insurance ID, and internet bill. For the financial docs I wrote a cover letter that listed the dates of the bank statements and the closing balances of each.

Merge your docs. The substance of the docs you submit matters, not the form or location.

I included my initial cover letter describing all of my documents as page one of the location document, followed by the scans of all of my passport pages. I also included a cover letter describing my portfolio in that section for proof of employment. Just add it to your other documents and compress it if it's over 3mb.
