Self employed and applying in Ho Chi Minh
I have bank statements, client contracts, paid invoices, etc.
Do i need to submit my business registration and/or tax ID?
And is there any other documentation that can give me an advantage for quick approval?
If both are needed, i can submit, but i need to make sure I have every single doc to make this smooth as possible as most of my life is currently in Thailand since I've been living here a few months hahah
TLDR : Answer Summary
When applying for a self-employment visa (presumably a DTV visa) in Ho Chi Minh City, it is recommended to submit your business registration and tax ID, although these may not be strictly required. Providing comprehensive documentation such as bank statements, client contracts, and paid invoices will help establish your self-employment. To ensure a quick approval, consider including a brief cover letter explaining your business activities, as well as proof of your location in Thailand (such as visa stamps and accommodation confirmations). Consulting with specialists or resources like Expat Money Forum could also be beneficial for additional guidance.
