Hi. Is there a time limit for when you get a re-entry permit to when you must leave, use it? I would like to get it a few weeks before I leave so can get on same day as 90 day check in. Thanks.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The community confirms that there is no strict time limit on when you must use a re-entry permit after obtaining it. You can purchase the permit at your convenience, and it will remain valid until the expiration date of your visa. This applies to both single and multiple entry permits, with the latter allowing for more than one entry during its validity.

Do when you please, both single and multi-entry are stamped as valid to the same expiry date as your visa, the single obviously only being valid for one use.
