Thanks to the admin for accepting my request! ๐
I'm currently in Chiang Mai on an Ed+ visa and need to apply for a visa to another country. They require a Police Clearance Certificate (PCC). Could someone guide me on where to go in Chiang Mai to get a PCC? What are the steps I need to follow?
Thanks in advance!

TLDR : Answer Summary
To obtain a Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) in Thailand, particularly for visa purposes, it is essential to go to the Police Headquarters in Bangkok, as this is the only official location for international PCCs. The process requires you to be fingerprinted and photographed at the office. For locals needing a clearance certificate for a work permit, it can be obtained in Chiang Mai. However, the international PCC requires a visit to Bangkok, which generally takes about 20 minutes to complete, with the certificate mailed to you within 7 to 15 days.
Thank you guys yes I find out from one of my friend he said if you want local clearance certificate like for work permit you can do it in Chiang Mai but for international use you must visit Bangkok and it will take around 20 minutes and they can send you a certificate through mail ๐ฌ within 7 to 15 days.
Brandon you are correct. Bangkok is where the office is located. I doubt they can use an agent as they have to finger print you and take a picture at the office. I just did it for my wife about a month ago.
