How Can I Resize My Photo and Passport Scan for a 60-Day Thai Visa Application?

ORIGINAL POSTERtrying to obtain a 60 day Thai visa, normally its easy however this year the system has altered, you now need to apply online, not a problem for me I have a computer a printer/scanner so I get to stage 3 of the form and that's as far as I can go, the form is asking for a scan of a photo and passport, the problem is the file needs to be 0.5 mb I am unable to get a file down to this size, I tried to call London Royal Thai Embassy but all I could get was an automated message. any ideas gratefully received. I will be in Thailand from January to April

So many programs on Google to resize your pictures and documents. But you might do a search in the populair topic London On Line Applications, it is mentioned a few times and I know for sure there is at least 1 post with different programs mentioned. Good luck

If you can get to a Thai Consulate in the UK, it is much easier to obtain the Tourist Visa.

Everybody has this problem! Some have suggested uploading it to facebook, saving the (now reduced) image from Facebook, then deleting it.
