How can I reduce the file size of a photo for my visa application upload in Thailand?

Hi guys, am trying to do the visa application but evertime i take a photo or try to upload a picture it just keeps flashing up image over 3mb, how do i reduce the mb size to allow me to upload????

If you have iPhone goto notes and then use scan option then make image smaller and use jpeg not pdf

Use the camera in snap chat and save image, much lower file size still good quality
