I handed in my form etc and then sat down with my number. That number was called and I got another number. Et viola! I had my passport back and was on my way in less than 1.5 hours. I did get there at about 8:45 though πŸ‘πŸ˜

Samui Immigration working hours 8.30-12.00 / 13.00-16.30 Monday to Friday.

I recommend to go there in the afternoons around 3pm when most of people gone already. Monday and Friday are usually more busy days.
